She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Pate and Delia J. Deese-Pate; and also Anker Ole Bell, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Fernando Vega; and her siblings, Virgil Lowry (Lena Bell), Gary Edward Pate, Terry Dale Pate, Sandra Faye Pate-Bell (Anker Ole Sr.), Mary Juanita Pate-Hardin (Elwood), Deloris Kaye Pate-Oxendine (George), Debra Sue Pate-Locklear (Bruce) and Sherry Ann Pate. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
