It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Matchett (Pembroke, North Carolina), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Matchett, and Edwin S Matchett, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine Matchett; his brothers, John Matchett of Columbus and Nelson Matchett of College Park; his children, Elizabeth Brock (Arthur), Stephen Matchett (Shelia), Edwin E Matchett, Anne Frances Ward and JoAnn Ellis; and his grandchildren, Tawanna, Alex of Pembroke, Jessica and Richard.
