He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sanderson and Martha Sanderson; his wife Elizabeth Sanderson (Betty); and his son Dennis Dean Sanderson, Sr. of Virginia. He is survived by: his sons, David E. Sanderson, Jr. (Patsy) of Virginia and Martin L. Sanderson (Barbara) of Pembroke; his brother Adolphus Sanderson (Tommy) of Florida; and his close friend Janice. He is also survived by five grandsons; three granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
