He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Joyce Bullard; and his grandparents, Dewey, Ethel Mae Bullard, Archie Malcom and Annie Mae Dutch.

He is survived by: his father Claybon Bullard Sr.; and his children, Clay Chavis of Red Springs, Shane Bullard of Laurel Hill and Taylor McKenzie Barton of Maxton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
