Christopher Dale Lowry Obituary
Mr. Christopher Dale Lowry, 58, of 6710 NC 72 Hwy West, Pembroke, NC was born June 14, 1963 and departed this life on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was preceded in deathby his father: Mr. Curlin Lowry and leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Mrs. Brenda Lowry-Scott; brothers: Mr. Clarence Kelly Lowry (Robbin) of Pembroke, NC and Mr. Corey Stephen Lowry of Pembroke, NC; three nieces, two nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Revs. James Kelvin Locklear and Nick McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery. A special thank you to his aunt: Ms. Edith Strickland; Uncle: Mr. Reedy Lowery, Jr.; Ms. Hazel Locklear and Ms. Wanda Locklear who were concerned about his daily wellbeing.
If no calls had been received from Chris during the day, there would be a chain of calls making sure he was ok. Realizing God gives us big assignments at times, however, before we get there. He gives us small along the way. This could be very true with the life of Chris since his automobile accident in 1995. He has had strong determination to overcome hislack of independence dur to his mobility.
Regardless t our situations in life, there is always something every individual can do. Chris became the independent Community Watch Person. The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
