It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Nelson (Pembroke, North Carolina), who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Oxendine; and his grandparents, C. H. Cummings, Luther Oxendine and Magnolia Oxendine. He is survived by: his mother Fannie C. Oxendine; his daughter Corkeisha M. Oxendine; his grandson Jeremiah Bullard; his pets, Tiny and Mann; his great-niece Rittie N. Oxendine; his niece Tara Carter; his great-nephew Haven O. Locklear; and his siblings, Jimmy R. Oxendine (Judy), Ginger C. Carter, Linda C. Oxendine and Belinda Strickland. He is also survived by special friend that was like a sister, Tammy W. Jacobs and a host of relatives and friends.
