He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Jones and Zora Mae Jones (Bullard); his sister Wanda Jones; and his nephew Terry Brayboy. He is survived by: his wife Helen Faye Jones; his children, Charles Forrest Jones of Pembroke, Aaron O'Briant of Pembroke, Steven Foster Jones (Carissa) of Pembroke, Ethan O'Briant (Lindette) of Pembroke and Wendy O'Briant of Lumberton; and his stepchildren, Sherry Beatty (John) of Florida, Melanie Shirley (Tony) of South Carolina and William O'Briant of Tennesse. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, along with seven nephews and one niece.
