It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Joseph Oxendine Jr. of Pembroke, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ben departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ben. Though Ben may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Oxendine and Annie Oxendine. He is survived by: his siblings, Tasha Oxendine of Pembroke and Thomas Oxendine (Amy) of Pembroke; and his nephew Landon Oxendine of Pembroke.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pembroke Church of God (516 Breece St, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
