He is survived by: his wife Anna Sampson; his daughters, Debra Locklear (Trent) and Joanna Hunt (Jason) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Brittany (Scottie), Alana (Preston), Bret, Thorne, Joyce Anna, Tala, Adam, Jaron (Hannah), Malina and Andre; and his siblings, Ilene Richards (Bob) of Florence, S. C., Diane (Herman) of Wilmington, N. C., Anslem (Beverly) of Pembroke, Donna, Romana and Betty. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
