It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Soto of Pembroke, North Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Bell Jones and Pandora; her children, Larry Jones and Barbara Ann Jones; her grandsons, Ray Garrett Deese and Leonard Viron Oxendine; and her siblings, Marvin Jones, Spurgeon Collins, Stanford Jones, Willie James Jones, James Arthur Jones, Charlie P Locklear, Erletha Jacobs, Annie N Honeycutt and Mary E Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Gregory (Greg), Janie Bell Oxendine (Earl) and Joanne Deese (Donald); her sister Mary Ruth Lowery (Grady); her sisters-in-law, Helen F Locklear and Rachel Collins; and her brothers, Laudell Locklear (Brenda), Harold Collins and Pete Locklear (Roberta). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
