He is survived by: his siblings, Ivory Lee Stephens, Percell "Pete" Stephens, Rebecca Stephens Logan, Pauline Stephens Mc Ghee and Linda Sue Graves; his wife Bernice Dejournette Stephens; his children, Betty Stephens, Yvonne Dillard, Wanda Stephens, William Dejournette, James Stephens and Wendell Stephens; his siblings, Shirley Stephens Mc Ghee, Louvenia Stephens King, Geraldine Stephens Holmes, James Edward Stephens (Jackie), Douglas "Junior" Stephens, Robert "Gene" Stephens (Diane) and John Wayne Stephens (Esther); his niece Tina King; his friend Frances Holmes; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Courts, Daisy Dejournette, Christine Dejournette, Susan Flacks and Frances Stephens. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
