He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Conley Bowen and Martha Louise Morgan Bowen; and his wife Mary Frances Bryson Bowen. He is survived by: his children, Susan Ratliff (Tony), Michael Bowen (Susan) and Terry Bowen. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Pelham Vol.
