He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tom Thomas and Lillie Mae Slade; his sons, Dequez Wright of Burlington, NC, Shawn Slade of Yanceyville, NC, Michael Slade of Yanceyville, NC and Donte Slade of Yanceyville, NC; his brother Timothy Slade of Patterson, NJ; and his godmother Wilma "Kay" Slade of Yanceyville, NC. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; uncles; aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
