With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Shelton of Pelham, North Carolina, born in Yanceyville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Bryant Shelton and Annie Smith Shelton; his brother Clem Bryant Shelton II; and his daughter Amy Lee Shelton. He is survived by: his former wife Judith Marion Atkins Shelton; his wife Judy; his daughter Emily Shelton Pruitt (Scott); his grandchildren, Alexzander Shelton Pruitt and Allyson Marilouse Pruitt; his sisters, Delores S. Dameron and Carol S. Lambert (Bobby); and his pet Charlie Cup. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations be made to Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 1705 Shady Grove Road, Providence, North Carolina 27315.
