He is survived by: his wife Jane Pierce Whitley; his daughter Kacie Pierce Whitley; his sister Deanna Bissett of Murfreesboro, NC; his nephews, Adam James Bissett of Deltona, FL, Eric Christian Bissett (Kristi) of Oak Island, NC, Brandon Hooker of Chatham, VA, Hunter Adkins of Chatham, VA, Brae Adkins of Chatham, VA and Chase Adkins of Chatham, VA; his siblings-in-law, Joey Adkins (Christie) and Bonnie Adkins; his mother-in-law Sarah Adkins of Chatham, VA; his aunt Margaret "Sissy" Roland (Johnnie) of Murfreesboro, NC; his cousins, Thomas Whitley (Mary) of Charlotte, NC and Robert Whitley (Kelli); his close friend Craig Setliff; and also, Belle, Ava of Clemmons, NC and Chelsey Setliff.
