She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Gibson and Nellie Mahan Gibson; and her siblings, Randy Gibson, Percy Gibson, Dewey Gibson, Pearl Hedrcik, Vergie Prather, Barbara Jones and Nell Dillard.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Clay (Barbara) of Chatham and Nellie Bean (Billy) of Pelham, NC; and her brothers, Ray Gibson of Chatham and Elbert Gibson of Chatham. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
