He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alec Ratliff, Jr. and Lillie Hundley Ratliff; his daughter Andrea Ratliff; and his brother Jerry Ratliff. He is survived by: his son Gary L. Ratliff, Jr. (Nikki) of Maysville; his grandchildren, Lily May Ratliff, Jacob Eric Ratliff, Robert Ramsey and Seth Gray Ramsey; his great grandchild Cameron Ramsey; and his sisters, Gloria R. Hall (Jimmy), Tammy Pruitt (Mark), Kathy Hayes (Randy) and Dawn Soloman (Larry).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Overlook Cemetery (700 Bryant St, Eden, NC 27288).
