It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Rae Burgess (Pelham, North Carolina), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lee Chatham and Mary Magdalene Capps Chatham; her husband Charles Wesley Burgess; her son David Wayne Southard; and her brothers, Darryle Chatham and James Chatham.
She is survived by: her sons, Vance Southard (Wendy) and Roger Dale Southard; and her sisters, Marsha Petty (Kenneth) and Mona Southard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lively Stones Baptist Church (2347 Chandler Mill Rd, Pelham, NC 27311). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
