She was predeceased by: her parents, George Melvin and Sallie Mae Gardner Pate; her husband George Raymond Sasser; her son Randy Kent Sasser; her son-in-law Tony "Cowboy" Garris; and her siblings, Joseph Albert "Abbie" Forehand, Sarah Smith and Mavis Williford.
She is survived by: her daughter Jenny Garris; her brother Mickey Forehand (Barbara); her grandsons, Jake Garris (Emily) and Cody Garris (Tara); and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Adaline.
