He is survived by: his wife Jenny Sasser Garris; his sons, Cody Garris (Tara) of Princeton and Jake Garris (Emily) of Raleigh; his sisters, Angela Hughston of Faison, Rose Beasley (Ricky) of Mt. Olive and Sallie Fiore (Ralph) of Clayton; his mother-in-law Maxine Sasser of Patetown; and his grandchildren, Jackson and Adaline. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
