He was predeceased by: his parents, James Donahue and Mary Geraldine Kelty Donahue; the mother of his children Mary Alice Holloman; his wife Ivina Jones Donahue; and his sisters, Dianne Cundiff and Sheila Lyvers.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Davis of South Carolina, Vicky Polanco, Angela Donahue, Patricia Hill (David) of Fayetteville, NC, Janice Jackson (Gary) of Fayetteville, NC and Penny Smith of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Wanda Rahl (Tim) of Michigan, Catherine "Catsy" Mattingly (Tiny) of New Haven, KY, Terrie Donahue of New Haven, KY, Dawn Valley (Jimmy) of New Haven, KY, Johnny Donahue (Pattie) of Buffalo, KY, Roy Donahue (Fay) of Hodgenville, KY, Sherman Donahue (Barbara) of Loretto, KY, Jeff Donahue (Brenda) of New Haven, KY and Ricky Donahue of Cox's Creek, KY; and his brother-in-law Larry Lyvers. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
