He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Brinson and Ruth Brinson; his daughter Kathryn Brinson Hall; his brother Donald C. Brinson; his stepbrother Stephen George; his stepfathers, Manley George, Glen Wayne and Jimmy Daniels; and his mother-in-law Marie Joyner.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyner Brinson; his son Theodore Brinson III (Linda); his grandchildren, Jonathan Brinson (Danesse), Justin Brinson, Joseph Brinson (Caroline), Will Hall, Jimmy Hall, Jr. and Marliese Billodeaux (Phillip); his great grandchildren, Phebe, Naomi Brinson, Natalia and Sophia Hall; his son-in-law Jimmy Hall, Sr.; his sister-in-law Libby Brinson; and his siblings, Robert E. Joyner (Betty), Dot Wayne and Evon Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, the family will accept cards, but suggests memorial contributions to Parkton Presbyterian Church or a charity of one's choice.
