It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Franklin Simmons Jr. of Parkton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Franklin Simmons, Sr. and Luise Leiner Simmons; and his brother John Jakob Simmons. He is survived by : his daughter Heather Simmons of Hope Mills; his sisters, Susan Simmons Kinsey of Hope Mills and Carol Simmons of Fayetteville.
