It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jestine Alexander of Parkton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Booker T. Rucker and Maggie Carthens Rucker; and her husband James Alexander. She is survived by: her sons, James Alexander Jr. (Daisy) of Parkton and Robert Lewis McLean (Yvonne) of Maryland; her grandchildren, Jareyce Alexander, Jeremiah Alexander and Andrea Bishop; and her great grandchild Elijah Bishop. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
