He is survived by: his wife Mary Ella Patterson; his stepson Charles Rouse; his sisters, Ruth Leathers and Dorothy Mae Mesta; and his grandchildren, Tracey Thompson (Daniel), Lisa Rouse and Gwendolyn Arnette. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
