He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Martin (Johnson); and his parents, John Martin and Marion Martin. He is survived by: his son Malik McCoy (Traci); his grandson Timothy Haynes; his brothers, Anthony, Michael (Cheryl) and Joseph; and his aunt Eleanor Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
