He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Hemmingway McVickers; his children, Mark McVickers (Annie) of Parkton, Trent McVickers (Lisa) of Parkton, Tony McVickers (Kimberly) of Parkton and Paula Autry (Mark) of Parkton; and his stepchildren, Ricky Lee (Jo Anna) of Hope Mills and Deborah Barefoot (David) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
