She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elias Ellis and Anna Mae Jones Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Don Lee Hubers; her children, Taffy Klaassen (Roger) of Belhaven, Tanya Velasquez (Steven) of Wendell, Troy Hubers (Kathi) of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Kelly Rouse (Christopher) of Belhaven; her grandchildren, Shelby Klaassen McRoy (Blake), Zack Klaassen, Wyatt Hubers, Katie Hubers, Ethan Hubers, Waylon Hubers, Kassidy Hubers, Emilie Hubers, Luke Rouse, Julia Rouse, Ryan Rouse, Taylor Rouse, Soren Velasquez and Leo Velasquez; and her siblings, Scott Ellis (Mary Helen), Debbie Ellis and David Ellis.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Covenant United Reformed Church (24599 US-264, Pantego, NC 27860). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Coastal Pregnancy Center, 1312 John Small Avenue, Washington, NC 27889.
