It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cotton Manning of Pamlico Beach, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Leroy Manning and Myrtle Ruth Williams Manning; and his brother Phillip Manning. He is survived by: his wife Lovell Manning; his children, Jack Manning (Kathy) of Asheville, Ellis Siddons (Blake) of Newport, Kristen Kinney (Ron) of Scottsdale, AZ, Maegan Aoki (Tyson) of Tremonton, UT and Cindy Wolfe Raleigh (Kevin); his sisters, Cynthia Worthington of Kinston and Janice Worthington of Winston Salem; and his grandchild Lieut.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lifegate Free Will Baptist Church (52 Old Pamlico Beach Road W, Belhaven, North Carolina 27889).
