With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willis Alston (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on May 9, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Alston; her son Stephen Thorpe; her grandson Leo Alston; and her sisters, Gwendolyn Jones and Mammy Bullock.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Thorpe (Betsy), Harvey Alston (Bregetta), Andrew Alston, Scott Alston, Jacqueline Cooper (Clarence), Tonya Alston (Karl) and Faye Alston; and her siblings, Donnell Thorpe, Larry Thorpe and Porchia Thorpe. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
