It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wesley Gray (Oxford, North Carolina), born in Avon, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorthor James Gray and Pecola Price Gray; and his wife Ella Mae "Tea" Gore Gray. He is survived by: his children, Linda Gray Ratcliffe of Castle Hayne and Bill Gray, Jr. (Angela Greene Gray) of Mooresville; his grandson Donald Owen Ratcliffe, Jr. (Jessica Cost Ratcliffe); his stepgranddaughter Alexandria Payne; his great grandchildren, Owen Timothy Ratcliffe and Reese Michelle Ratcliffe; and his close friend Dorothy Bolduc.
