He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey William Elliott and Malissa Vaughan Elliott; his sisters, Foy Breedlove, Margaret Cole and Mae Gardner; and his niece Diane Keith.

He is survived by: his sister Linda Tingen (James) of Oxford; his nephews, Wayne Breedlove (Judy) of Butner, Dwight Owen (Marianne) of Sioux City, Michael and Jeff Tingen (Bonita) of Oxford; and his siblings-in-law, Shelby Pruitt of Danville and Grant Gardner of Walker.
