She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Hunter, Sr. and Luvenia Allen Hunter. She is survived by: her husband Elijah "Ed" Strater; her children, Alfonzo Hunter of Oxford, Felicia Pitchford of Oxford, Levette King of Oxford and Levern Brandon of Alton, VA; and her siblings, Shirley Cheatham of Oxford, Dorothy Puryear of Oxford, Harry Hunter of Raleigh and Clarence Hunter of Goldsboro. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be required.
