It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Davis (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Cozart and Hattie Cozart Royster. She is survived by: her children, Clemon Wilkerson Jr. of Henderson, John Henry Wilkerson of Henderson, Ronnie Davis (Lisa) of Oxford, NC, Michael Davis of Oxford, NC, Carolyn Davis of Durham, NC and Wanda Davis-Wakefield of Charlotte, NC; and her niece Ernestine Bullock. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Remember to follow state and CDC guidelines, graveside service and viewing is limited to fifty (50) people and to practice social distancing of six feet along with face covering and good handwashing.
