He is survived by: his children, Mary Brandon of Oxford, NC, Mary Davis of Stem, NC, Jeanette Taylor of Henderson, NC, Tim Evans of Asbury, NJ, Barry Evans (Jennifer) of Henderson, NC, Eulis Evans of Oxford, NC and Corey Evans (Talisa) of Stovall, NC; his stepchildren, Jeanette Chavis (Ben) of Henderson, NC, Rose Cozart (Harvey) of Henderson, NC, Nora Cheek (Richard) of Henderson, NC, Teresa Bullock (Leon) of Henderson, NC, Willie Hart of Bayshore, NY and Wayne Cofield (Joyce) of Durham, NC; and his sisters, Vertilia Harris (Elbert) of Oxford, NC, Annie Mildred Jackson of Oxford, NC and Mary Cheatham (Matthew) of Oxford, NC. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren, twenty step-grandchildren, forty-six step great-grandchildren; one step great-great- grandchild and other loving relatives and friends.
