He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee Royster, Sr. and Frances Cates. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Cates; his daughters, Casaundra Cates of Jersey City, NJ, Eulonda Cates of Jersey City, NJ, Rashida Cates of Jersey City, NJ and Tarjah Cates-Banks of Covington, GA; and his siblings, Annette Royster of Flemington, NJ, Barbara Bell of Henderson, NC, James L. Royster of Appomattox, VA, Terry Royster of Oxford, NC and Scott Royster of Patterson, NJ. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home Chapel (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
