She is survived by: her parents, Hilda Delores Betts and Douglas McArthur Betts, Sr.; her brother Douglas, Jr.; and her aunts and uncles, Mamie Bryant (Ulysses) of Durham, N. C., Barbara Jean Tucker, Teresa Chavis of Durham, N. C., Ruth Chavis-Hunt (Michael) of Clayton, N. C., Harry Chavis (Sharon) of Butner, N. C. and Ernest Ray Betts of Raleigh, N. C..
