She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney C. Champion, Sr. and Helen Cash Champion; her husband James Morton; and her siblings, Sidney, Burley, Charles, Howard Champion, Erma Champion Reece and Pauline Champion Newell.
She is survived by: her son Keith Morton; and her siblings, Clifton, Donald, Larry, Stephen Champion, Faye Jones and Linda Fox. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made in Virginia's memory to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
