Sue Betty Parrott Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2022, at the age of 85, Sue Betty Parrott (Oxford, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Early George Gill and Mattie Ann Lunsford Gill; her husband Floyd Jones Parrott; and her siblings, Christine Hurdle, Mary Mitchell, Mildred Hubbard, Pasco Gill, Gertrude Lee and Harold Gill.

She is survived by: her children, Tony (Shirley) and Tracy (Allison); her grandchildren, Brittany Parrott Brown (Doug), Evan Parrott (Katie), Noah Parrott, Graham Parrott, Leah Parrott and Landon Parrott; her great grandchild Adelyn Anne Parrott; her stepgranddaughters, Blair Ackiss (Tyler) and Paige Welsh (Michael); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabel Jackson (Dakota), Gracie Phet (Arron) and Saylor Mae; and her siblings, Dorothy Clark, Elsie Davis, Lessie Preddy (Dennis) and Clessie Adcock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations in her memory to the Education Scholarship Fund Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 1171 US Highway 158, Oxford, NC 27565.
