He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willard Prather and Edith Champion Prather. He is survived by: his wife Gail Edwards Prather; his children, Quentin Thomas Buchanan (Margie) of Blackshear, GA and Leslie Dawn Moore (J. T.) of Burlington; his brother Jerry Prather of Henderson; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ellington (Henry T.) and Sylvia Edwards. He is also survived by four nieces; a nephew; five great-nieces; three great nephews; one great-great niece; and four great-great nephews.
