He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jeanette Elam Hunt and Charles Bryant Hunt, Sr.; his wife Dorothy Lois Hunt; his siblings, Janie Dickerson, India Milton and Charles Bryant Hunt, Jr.; and his half-brother Charlie B. Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Audrey Brogden of Graham, NC, Barbara Blalock of Jamestown, NC and Nathan Hunt (Nancy) of Westville, Indiana; and his half-brother Timothy Hunt of Raleigh, N. C.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
