He is survived by: his former spouse Pattillo Ramseur Royster; his wife Pat Royster; his children, Charlie and Anna Barkley (Cab); his sister Katherine Ewing; and his grandchildren, Tyler Royster, Laura Barkley and Elizabeth Barkley.
