With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sallie B Yates (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sallie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sallie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Carl Burt, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Doprothy Pratt Burt; her husband Willie Yates; her sons, Scottie Reed (Yolanda) of Durham and Donald Reed of Creedmoor; and her siblings, Gayle Wright of Oxford, James Burt of Creedmoor and Charles Burt of Creedmoor. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
