It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Williamson (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thomas Burwell Sr. and Annie Lee Burwell; her husband Sam T. Williamson Sr.; her granddaughter Michelle Gray Campbell; and her son-in-law Ross Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Williamson Gray, Wanda Williamson Stainback (John), Audrey Williamson Pegram (Alan), Tommy Williamson (Trudy) and Brian Williamson (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jason Critcher (Kristen), Jennifer Wood (Neal), Katherine Critcher, Alex Burnette (Selena), Nicholas Burnette (Ashley), Rebecca Roberson (Thomas) and Keith Williamson (Taylor); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Burwell and Jean Burwell. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
