She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Hamilton and Bettie Elizabeth Terry; her siblings, Ray Charles Hamilton, Tammie Hamilton Terry, Clyde Hamilton, Mary Lewis, Sandra Long, James Terry and Dorothy Barnette; and her sister-in-law Patricia Tuck Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Tyrone Hamilton, Sr. (Letitia) of Creedmoor, NC, Wanda Kingsberry (Jason) of Henderson, NC, Latonya Hamilton of Henderson, NC and Rufus Hamilton (Stacy); her grandchildren, Ty'Rese Thorpe, DiQuan Thorpe of Oxford, NC, Ashanti, Tyler Cotten of Creedmoor, NC, Tyrone "TJ" Hamilton of New York, Tyrone "Deuce" Hamilton of Warrenton, NC, Tyleshia Hamilton (Darriel) of Henderson, NC, Jykejuan Peace, Demarcus, Demya Cozart of Henderson, NC, Demoni Cozart, Kadarrian and Kamarrian Hamilton of Oxford, NC; her nieces, Cassandra Hamilton and Betty Moore; her siblings, Mozelle Cheek of Oxford, NC, Virginia Young (Bernard) of Henderson, NC, Larry Hamilton (Cia) of Savannah, Robert and Dennis Hamilton (Megan) of Butner, NC; and her sister-in-law Vanita Hamilton. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
