It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Henry Marks (Oxford, North Carolina), born in Westport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marks and Arline Marks; his wife Joyce M. Marks; his brother Robert Marks; and his sister-in-law Adrienne.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin E. Benn (Lorraine) of Hancock, ME, Laurie B. Feranec (Michael) of New Hill, NC and Brenda J. Marshall (Denis) of Loveland, CO; his grandchildren, Alyssa F. Newell (Christopher) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Andrew M. Feranec (Leigh W. Cox) of Raleigh, NC and Casey Benn; his great grandchildren, Cole, Cooper, Cohen, Cruz of Hancock, ME, Christa Benn and Benjamin of Hancock, ME; his nieces, Barbara Marks of Stony Creek, CT and Margaret Marks (Peggy) of Greenville, SC; and his nephew Jeffrey Marks of Portland, OR..
