He is survived by: his wife Barbara Campbell Strong; his children, Jennifer Strong Carter (Lucas), LaCrystal Strong Matlock (Robert) and Kareem Randy Strong; his grandchildren, Samuel Nathan Carter, Gwendolyn Mae Carter, Robert Judah Matlock, Mason Lane and Micah Paul Matlock; and his siblings, George Franklin Strong, Charles Kenneth Strong, James Benjamin Strong (Lillie), Ellis Strong (Dorothy), Larry Edward Strong, Evelyn Davis (John), Marjorie Suitt (Linwood), Brenda Terry (Thomas), Linda Lewis (Bryant), Barbara Jones and Deborah Curtis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
