Though Randolph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Randolph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jones and Betty Royster Jones. He is survived by: his wife Mary Taylor Jones; and his children, Gwendolyn Avant of Oxford, Valerie A. Jones-Cohen (Joseph) of Apex, Kenneth Jones (Louise) of Bullock, Vincent D. Jones (Althea) of Bullock, Cynthia D. Terry of Oxford, Randolph Jones, Jr. (Lashaun) of Oxford and Leslie J. Hargrove (Steven) of Henderson. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davis Chapel Baptist Church (8587 Grassy Creek Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
