He is survived by: his mother Brenda K Stewart (Maurice); his stepmother Sarah Thornton (Renee Thornton) of Raleigh, NC; his children, Sage Thornton of Roxboro, NC and Randall D Thornton, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; his aunts and uncles, Betty Malachi of Roxboro, NC, Barbara Allen of Roxboro, NC, Linda Faye Stewart of Roxboro, NC, Gary, Sammy Stewart of Durham, NC and Jack Stewart of Roxboro, NC; his nephew Jahlil Lyons of Durham, NC; and his close friend George Reed of Oxford, NC. He is also survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.
