It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Gwynn of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Thomas Sykes and Lillie Jackson Sykes; her husband Dr. George Richard Gwynn; and her siblings, William T. Sykes, Lee Vann Sykes, Lydia Nadine Poteat, Hazel Sykes Goodson and Bertha Virginia Sykes.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Carol Larson (Lee) of Cullowhee, N. C., Cynthia Ann Schrodt (Stuart) of Yanceyville, N. C. and John Littleton Gwynn (Martha) of Raleigh, N. C.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations can be made to Prospect UMC or to Caswell County Parrish.
